Proven regreening techniques include rainwater harvesting (digging bunds), tree restoration, and developing grass seed banks. All our projects are owned and implemented by communities that live off the land. The total area under restoration so far is more than 400,000 hectares of land. With the development of our new Digital Regreening Platform, our ultimate goal is to inspire and enable 350 million subsistence farmers and pastoralists in sub-Saharan Africa to regreen their own land by 2030!
